The April 25 broadcast of the 6th episode of MBC’s weekend drama ’21st Century Grand Princess’ featured Seong Hee-joo (IU) and Grand Prince Lee An (Byeon Woo-seok) sharing a heartwarming kiss on a yacht.
Previously, Grand Prince Lee An had announced a breakup with Seong Hee-joo, creating a crisis that the couple managed to overcome and reconcile. They then vowed to fight without backing down to achieve their desires.
That day, Seong Hee-joo attended a banquet after Grand Prince Lee An invited her. In front of all the attendees, Grand Prince Lee An publicly proposed to Seong Hee-joo.
Seong Hee-joo accepted, and Lee Yoon (Kim Eun-ho) also approved their marriage. Queen Dowager Yoon Yi-rang (Gong Seung-yeon), shocked by this, shouted at Prime Minister Min (Noh Sang-hyun), “Write a national marriage refusal order. That’s the prime minister’s authority,” but he rejected her request.

Subsequently, Queen Dowager Yoon Yi-rang said, “Grand Prince Lee An knows the will of the late king,” agreeing to their marriage by adding, “As long as the prince knows the will of the late king, it’s impossible to share a boat with him.
