In an interview with Toofab on December 17, Lee Byung-hun said, “Being nominated is a huge honor in itself. I heard that I am the first Korean actor nominated for Best Actor, and I was very happy to hear the news.”<\/p>\n
When asked about his strategy for the upcoming Oscars race, he joked, “I have my plans,” adding, “It’s to eliminate the other candidates.” He quickly clarified, “It’s a joke. I’m sorry,” but playfully warned his competitors, “Be careful.”<\/p>\n
In the film “No Choice,” Lee’s character Mansu eliminates competitors in the job market after losing his job\u2014an angle Lee cleverly referenced.<\/p>\n
