BTS leader RM has expressed his candid thoughts on HYBE ahead of the group’s full-scale comeback.<\/p>\n

BTS held a group live broadcast on December 21 via the fan community platform Weverse.<\/p>\n

All BTS members completed their military service this year, and the group has announced a comeback and world tour set for March 2026. The group expressed excitement about their activities next year, stating, “Let’s make 2026 the year of BTS,” and “Something big is coming,” thus heightening anticipation for their return.<\/p>\n

During the broadcast, RM expressed his frustration with agency HYBE, stating, “I wish our company would show more affection for us,” and “I just wish they would support us more.”<\/p>\n

BTS recently hinted at their impending comeback by conducting group live sessions and releasing rehearsal room group photos. During a group live broadcast on December 16, RM also expressed his eagerness to return, saying, “I can’t wait [for the comeback], it’s driving me crazy. I hate the end of this year,” and asked, “When will the company announce it? I’m going crazy. HYBE, please announce it soon.”<\/p>\n

On December 6, following dating rumors involving member Jungkook, BTS held a live broadcast to communicate with the stirred fandom, sharing honest stories about team activities.<\/p>\n

RM also addressed the 2026 comeback during that broadcast, stating, “Many people ask why we wasted the second half of 2025 and did nothing. We didn\u2019t want to waste it either. I wanted to do a lot of activities after being discharged,” adding that there were undisclosed reasons for their decision not to be active in the second half.<\/p>\n

RM revealed during this process that he had contemplated “whether it’s better to disband or put the group on hold many times.” He shared that the team’s continuation stems from their mutual love and their love and respect for fans.<\/p>\n

In response to fans’ anxiety over the mention of “disbandment,” RM apologized, stating, “I feel like I tired a lot of ARMYs out with the live, and I received many worried messages. I regret turning on the live broadcast, but I was just very frustrated. I’m sorry. I\u2019ll focus on making music, practicing choreography, thinking about new content, and living well.”<\/p>\n

Amidst a long hiatus, RM has repeatedly expressed his frustrations. BTS released “Take Two,” their last digital single as a complete group, in June 2023 to commemorate their 10th anniversary. Their last full group concert was in October 2022.
