SEVENTEEN’s main vocalists, Dokyeom and Seungkwan, are delivering a fresh emotional experience as the group’s newest unit.<\/p>\n

Dokyeom and Seungkwan’s first mini-album ‘Soya Song’ and the music video for the title track ‘Blue’ were released at 6 PM on the 12th.<\/p>\n

‘Soya Song’ means ‘a love song sung at night (Serenade)’. The album, themed ‘ordinary love,’ features six tracks that capture every moment from meeting to parting, transforming these experiences into emotional storytelling.<\/p>\n

SEVENTEEN’s main vocalists, Dokyeom and Seungkwan, have reunited as a unit for the first time in ten years since their 2016 debut duet song ‘say yes,’ showcasing a more mature vocal synergy. With ‘Soya Song,’ which encapsulates universally relatable emotions, they aim to warm the public’s cold winter nights with a heartfelt confession.<\/p>\n

The title track is a traditional ballad. ‘Blue’ subtly and dramatically conveys the inability to let go of emotions even as a relationship fades.<\/p>\n

The lyrics, expressing delicate emotions such as “Where have those brilliant appearances faded, swept away by rising emotions \/ I’m still here”, “I’m endlessly fallin\u2019 in your blue”, and “Even as I try to meet eyes alone and love more, you didn\u2019t come back to me, only echoes remain,” blend harmoniously with the duo’s delicate voices and powerful harmony.<\/p>\n

The music video, filmed in a drama-like style popular in the past, aligns with the ‘traditional ballad’ theme. The 7-minute video stars actors Lee Yumi and Noh Sang-hyun, who portray a man with deep emotional wounds and a woman who loves him but gradually grows weary, thereby enhancing the song’s immersive experience.<\/p>\n

Additionally, ‘Soya Song’ includes a total of six songs: ‘Rockstar (DK Solo)’, ‘Guilty Pleasure’, ‘Silence’, ‘Dream Serenade (SEUNGKWAN Solo)’, and ‘Prelude of Love’.<\/p>\n
