Singer Kang Daniel will begin his mandatory military service with active duty enlistment in February, his agency confirmed.<\/p>\n
According to Xportsnews, a representative from Kang Daniel’s agency, Konnect Entertainment, stated, “Kang Daniel will enlist in the army on February 9.”<\/p>\n
Consequently, he is expected to participate only partially in the Wanna One reunion reality program, set to air seven years after the group’s debut.<\/p>\n
Kang Daniel has previously spoken about his military service plans throughout this year. He revealed that ‘PULSEPHASE,’ his album released late last year, would be his final album before enlistment.<\/p>\n
He also mentioned on a fan communication platform, “There have been many questions about this, so I want to answer. It\u2019s reality, right? And since I\u2019m going to ‘study abroad’ (referring to military service) next year, perhaps I\u2019ll just participate in the intro?”<\/p>\n
Kang Daniel, born in 1996, debuted with Wanna One in 2017 through Mnet’s ‘Produce 101 Season 2.’<\/p>\n
