The group aespa made a global splash by attending ‘The Governors Ball Music Festival 2023’ in the United States.
Recently, Billboard, a renowned music media outlet, published an article titled “aespa’s Greatest Moments at their First Governors Ball Performance” on their official website, highlighting aespa’s stage at ‘The Governors Ball Music Festival.’
Billboard introduced, “aespa dominated the main stage with their unique presence and showcased their extensive and intriguing storyline through their setlist.” They provided a detailed description of aespa’s setlist performed at ‘The Governors Ball Music Festival.’
Rolling Stone, a famous American music magazine, also praised aespa’s performance, stating, “aespa took the stage with fireworks for their debut song, and from that moment, the cheers grew louder. They all looked comfortable on stage, and Ningning’s vocals shone brightly. This stage was a dream for many fans, and they were ecstatic until the members left the stage.”
Earlier, aespa became the first K-pop group to attend ‘The Governors Ball Music Festival,’ held at Flushing Meadows Corona Park in New York on the 10th (local time). They performed a total of 10 songs on the main stage, including their hit songs “Black Mamba,” “Next Level,” “Savage,” “Girls,” and “aenergy.” They also presented their latest tracks, “Spicy,” “Salty & Sweet,” “Welcome To MY World,” as well as English-language songs like “Life’s Too Short” and “Hold On Tight.”
Furthermore, aespa will hold their solo concert, ‘aespa LIVE TOUR 2023 ‘SYNK: HYPER LINE’ in JAKARTA,’ at Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE BSD) in Jakarta on the 24th.
