K-pop group aespa continues to soar in popularity this year.
The 2025 Melon Music Awards (The 17th Melon Music Awards, hereafter ‘MMA2025’) took place on December 20 at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul.
Models Jung Hyuk and Kani presented awards, with aespa announced as a ‘TOP10’ winner alongside G-Dragon, IVE, and PLAVE.
Earlier, Ningning had announced she would only partially attend ‘MMA2025’ due to a cold. Karina, Giselle, and Winter appeared on stage, drawing particular attention as it marked Winter’s first award appearance since her dating rumors with BTS’s Jungkook.
Taking the microphone, Karina stated, “We are always grateful to MY (our fandom) for this precious ‘TOP10’ award. We will continue to work hard on our music to repay everyone who loves our music and performances.”
She added, “We will strive to become even better artists in the future.”
The ‘2025 Melon Music Awards’ also featured performances and appearances by artists including G-Dragon, Jay Park, 10CM, Zico, EXO, WOODZ, JENNIE, aespa, IVE, Hanloro, BOYNEXTDOOR, RIIZE, PLAVE, NCT WISH, ILLIT, Hearts2Hearts, KiiiKiii, ALLDAY PROJECT, IDID, and ALPHA DRIVE ONE.
