Daesung and Taeyang are fueling anticipation for Big Bang’s 20th-anniversary activities.
On the 3rd, Daesung held the 2025 Asia Tour ‘D’s WAVE’ encore concert at the TicketLink Live Arena (formerly Olympic Handball Stadium) in Songpa, Seoul.
Daesung organized this special event, inspired by fan support, following the successful completion of a tour across 11 Asian cities, including Ho Chi Minh City, Kuala Lumpur, Taipei, Hong Kong, Kobe, Singapore, Sydney, Macau, Yokohama, and Kaohsiung, which began in Seoul last April.
Previously, the three members of Big Bang showed their solidarity by appearing as guests at each other’s concerts. Fans highly anticipated Taeyang and G-Dragon’s appearance as guests at Daesung’s encore concert.
However, Daesung surprised fans by performing cover stages for Taeyang and G-Dragon, initially leading them to believe there would be no guests, until Taeyang appeared on stage to a roaring welcome.
Taeyang performed three songs, “Ringa Linga,” “VIBE,” and “In My Heart,” further heating up the atmosphere. Daesung expressed gratitude, saying, “My brother is very busy, but he rushed here.” Taeyang humorously added, “I would be hurt if I wasn’t invited now.”
Asked about his recent activities, Taeyang said he is working hard on finalizing his solo album, saying it will be a full-length album packed with songs.
Notably, this year marks Big Bang’s 20th anniversary.
Taeyang hinted at a busy year for Big Bang, saying, “You need to love us more this year than last. Can you handle more support? Is it okay to keep going until you’re tired of us? Brace yourselves.” He added, “This year is special for us. It’s time to unleash all the emotions we’ve gathered for you.”
