BLACKPINK’s highly anticipated full-group album has finally been unveiled to fans worldwide.
On the 19th at 2 PM, BLACKPINK (Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, Lisa) released their third mini-album, ‘Deadline,’ along with the music video for its title track, ‘GO.’
‘Deadline’ marks BLACKPINK’s first full-group album in three years and five months. The comeback garnered early attention from global music fans, especially following each member’s impactful solo activities.
As the title suggests, ‘Deadline’ encapsulates ‘BLACKPINK’s irreversible peak moments’ and ‘the group’s most brilliant present.’
The title track ‘GO’ perfectly showcases BLACKPINK’s signature positive and confident energy. It blends intense sound with a catchy melody, delivering a message of courage and solidarity through the powerful group chant, “Blackpink’ll make ya.”

The album also features five additional tracks: the pre-released, hard-style EDM track ‘Jump’; ‘Me and My,’ which combines a retro hip-hop beat with sophisticated brass sounds; the inspiring anthem ‘Champion,’ known for its hopeful melody and lyrics; and ‘Fxxxboy,’ which highlights the members’ delicate and emotional tones.
These five tracks, showcasing a variety of styles and genres, demonstrate BLACKPINK’s limitless musical evolution and provide a direction for the group to aim even higher.
The accompanying music video depicts a journey across rolling seas, erupting lava fields, and into outer space, captivating global music fans with its overwhelming scale and visuals.
BLACKPINK, known for making waves in the global music market, has once again piqued interest regarding what new records they might set with this comeback.

With their previous full-group album, the second studio album ‘Born Pink,’ BLACKPINK achieved first place on both the US Billboard 200 and UK Official Albums Chart. They also became double million sellers (selling 2.14 million copies as of September 2022, according to Circle Chart) and attracted 1.8 million concertgoers on a single tour, setting numerous firsts for a K-pop girl group.
Recently, BLACKPINK became the first artists worldwide to reach 100 million subscribers on YouTube, further evidencing their expanding global influence.
To commemorate the new album’s release, BLACKPINK will conduct the ‘Hourglass Tour’ from March 1 to 9. This promotion will take place across four locations: The Same Hapjeong Branch, Soundwave Yeongdeungpo Timesquare, Musinsa Standard Seongsu, and Ktown4u COEX. When these four locations, centered around the National Museum of Korea, are connected, they form the shape of an hourglass, spatially embodying the album’s concept ‘Deadline.’
