Sean, a member of hip-hop duo Jinusean, announced BLACKPINK Jennie’s significant donation.
On February 24, Sean posted on his personal social media account, stating, “BLACKPINK Jennie combined the profits from her January photo exhibition ‘J2NNI5’ with her personal funds, donating 100 million won to the Briquette Bank through the ‘Raise Korea’s Temperature by 1 Degree’ campaign that I’m running. The donation aims to help elderly people in need of coal briquettes.”
Sean added, “With 100 million won, you can purchase 112,000 briquettes, which allow 560 households to heat their homes for a month in the cold winter. For some, briquettes are a necessity to survive winter and not just an option.” He expressed his gratitude, saying, “Thank you, Jennie, for making South Korea a little warmer!”

Sean also revealed a sponsorship certificate dated February 13. The certificate noted the donor as Kim Jennie, specified a donation of 100 million won, and listed the support type as “Nationwide Coal Briquette Support for Climate Crisis Vulnerable Groups,” drawing attention.
Previously, Jennie held her solo photo exhibition ‘J2NNI5’ in Jongno-gu, Seoul, from January 16 to 29, to commemorate her 30th birthday. She had publicly announced her intention to donate all ticket proceeds.
Jennie’s generous donation, which fulfilled her promise to donate all proceeds and even included additional personal funds, has warmed many hearts. Global fans reacted enthusiastically, with comments such as “Impressive” and “That’s Jennie for you.”
