Group BTS celebrated their 10th debut anniversary with a fireworks display in Yeouido.
On the 17th, BTS’s 10th Anniversary FESTA took place at Yeouido Hangang Park in Seoul.
To commemorate their 10th debut anniversary on the 13th, BTS had been lighting up various locations in Seoul, including Namsan Seoul Tower, Sebitseom, Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP), Lotte World Tower, Seoul City Hall, World Cup, Banpo, Yanghwa, and Yeongdong Bridges, with purple lights, creating a festive atmosphere.
At the BTS 10th Anniversary FESTA held on the 17th at Yeouido Hangang Park, various experience booths and segments like “5 PM, It’s Kim Namjoon” featuring RM were held. Particularly, from 8:30 PM to 9:00 PM, a spectacular fireworks show commemorating BTS’s 10th anniversary lit up the sky, decorating the grand finale.
Set against the backdrop of BTS’s hit songs such as “Mikrokosmos,” “FIRE,” “Dynamite,” and “Spring Day,” the fireworks display was a visual spectacle. Especially, Jungkook personally participated in the narration, adding further meaning to the event.
Jungkook stated, “Since today is a special day, we wanted to decorate our summer night with beautiful fireworks filled with love and gratitude. We hope this fireworks display can reach everyone who supports us. So, let’s start and wish for a happier day today.” Thus, he opened the fireworks show.
He continued, “The slogan for this festival is ‘BTS PRESENTS EVERYWHERE.’ What image of BTS comes to your mind from your memories? For us, the moments of singing and dancing together with our fans in the concert venue are the most vivid. So, let’s fill the Yeouido night sky with the same energy and heat as back then.” He also reminisced about the moments shared with the fans.
Lastly, Jungkook introduced their final song prepared to encapsulate their 10 years of memories. He said, “This is the last song we prepared, just like fireworks that beautifully adorn a dark night, thank you for illuminating our nights that were once empty. Now, shall we open the second act together?” He then introduced BTS’s 10th anniversary commemorative song, “Take Two.”
