TV personality Park Myung-soo mentioned BTS’s Jin.
On the 26th, singer Roy Kim appeared on KBS Cool FM’s “Park Myung-soo’s Radio Show.”
During the show, Park Myung-soo mentioned Roy Kim’s new song “WE GO HIGH” and asked, “I heard that this song was inspired by BTS’s Jungkook. Is that true?” Roy Kim replied, “This song was not originally written for me to sing.”
He continued, “I was planning to release a ballad, but the company asked me, ‘How long will you keep being sad?’ So, when Jungkook’s birthday came around, I thought about how I could use the song I had written for him. When I played it for him, he said, ‘You should sing it.'” Park Myung-soo speculated, “I think it would have suited Jungkook’s voice. Would he have sung it if you had given it to him?” Roy Kim laughed and replied, “We’ll never know unless we see it happen.”
Park Myung-soo then revealed, “Jin appeared on my YouTube channel, ‘Halmengsoo,’ before, and we exchanged phone numbers.”
He continued, “Jin said, ‘Even if you call me, I might not be able to pick up.’ He told me that he receives about 3,000 KakaoTalk messages in English every day. When I saw that, I realized that being a world star is different.” Park Myung-soo shared his thoughts and said, “I realized that being a world star is different,” and mentioned, “He asked me to understand even if he replies late. He’s been in contact with famous people like Coldplay.” His mention of his extensive connections drew attention.
