Actor Byun Yo-han and Girls’ Generation’s Tiffany Young, who admitted to dating with marriage in mind, are being spotlighted for their past closeness developed through ‘Uncle Samsik.’
On the 13th, Byun Yo-han and Tiffany Young confirmed their relationship.
Reports have emerged that the couple plans to marry next fall. A representative from Byun Yo-han’s agency, TEAMHOPE, confirmed the relationship to Xportsnews, saying, “The wedding date has not been specifically decided yet.”
Byun Yo-han and Tiffany Young played lovers in the Disney+ series ‘Uncle Samsik,’ which was released last May.
Byun Yo-han portrayed Kim San, a brilliant young man with a PhD in economics from the United States, aspiring to create a prosperous nation.
Tiffany Young took on the role of Rachel Jung, a woman approaching Kim San with ulterior motives, and she is the sister of a director at the Albright Foundation.
After debuting as a member of Girls’ Generation in 2007, Tiffany Young has expanded her career into acting and musicals, performing in dramas like ‘Reborn Rich’ and on stage with ‘Chicago.’ She expressed her thoughts on shooting her first-ever kiss scene with Byun Yo-han in ‘Uncle Samsik.’
In an interview last year for ‘Uncle Samsik,’ Tiffany Young discussed their intense kiss scene, stating, “We had to shoot many scenes in one day, but our passion and focus matched well. It was fun to have such a strong and heated first kiss scene.”
She added, “Byun Yo-han is a very passionate person. I tried to absorb as much of that energy as possible. Initially, it was a bit intimidating, but I thought, ‘This is my partner, and I can be passionate too,’ and it worked. From observing his breathing, leadership, and energy on set, I learned ‘I should also do this.'”
Byun Yo-han also referred to Tiffany as his ‘English teacher,’ acknowledging her help with the language, stating, “Tiffany Young is truly amazing. Despite her long career with Girls’ Generation, she didn’t seem out of place while playing Rachel,” offering his public support.
Meanwhile, Byun Yo-han is currently filming the new movie ‘Tazza: Song of the Devil (‘Tazza 4′),’ and Tiffany Young is engaging global audiences with the Netflix variety show ‘Veiled Musician Season 3.’
