EXO member and actor D.O. surprised everyone by attending his close friend Kim Woo-bin’s wedding, despite initial reports of his absence.
The wedding of Shin Min-a and Kim Woo-bin was held on the evening of the 20th at the Shilla Hotel in Jung-gu, Seoul. The event was reportedly intimate, with only family, relatives, and close friends invited. From 6 PM, close celebrity friends of the couple began to make appearances.
Actor Lee Kwang-soo, a close friend of Kim Woo-bin, hosted the ceremony. D.O. was initially expected to sing the congratulatory song but was later reported to be unavailable due to performing with EXO at the ‘2025 Melon Music Awards’ (MMA 2025) at Gocheok Sky Dome.
In an interview with Xportsnews on the 11th regarding the Disney+ show ‘Sculpted City,’ D.O. expressed his regrets, “I was originally going to handle the congratulatory song. I knew about the wedding early and was going to do it, but then the ‘MMA 2025’ stage came up, and I was really torn. Both Woo-bin and I were disappointed. I was planning to sing ‘Popcorn’ for the song.”
He emphasized, “Obviously, work is important, and EXO comes first,” adding, “Even though I can’t sing the song, it’s painful, but I feel like I should do more for Kim Woo-bin. Woo-bin understands it was unavoidable. Despite our disappointment, we both understand each other.”

At around 4:30 PM, D.O. appeared with EXO members on the ‘MMA 2025’ red carpet, making his absence from the wedding seem certain. However, he surprised everyone by showing up at the Shilla Hotel around 6:15 PM.
Dressed in a black padded jacket, he greeted the bride and groom briefly before leaving the hotel at 6:30 PM. His stay at the Shilla Hotel was just about 15 minutes, a testament to his dedication, as he traveled from Gocheok Sky Dome to the Shilla Hotel and back to the dome for the celebrations.

Meanwhile, Shin Min-a and Kim Woo-bin’s wedding has drawn significant attention, with wedding photos resembling a movie scene. The couple also received praise for donating 300 million KRW to neighbors in need, spreading warmth and garnering applause.
