Second-generation K-pop groups Girls’ Generation and Apink are about to welcome their first married members.
Apink member Yoon Bomi and singer-producer Rado plan to marry in May next year.
On the 18th, Yoon Bomi announced her wedding through a handwritten letter on Apink’s official fan cafe.
She wrote, “Having passed through my teens and twenties, I am now 33, and I have decided to share my future with someone who has been by my side, sharing everyday joys and challenges. As I have until now, I will continue to live responsibly and firmly.”
On the same day, both agencies asked for warm support for the couple as they start a new chapter and announced they will remain active after marriage. Yoon Bomi and Rado have been dating since April 2017 and are celebrating marriage after nine years together.
Next year is especially significant for Yoon Bomi. Apink will release their 11th mini-album, “Re: Love,” on January 5th, marking their 15th anniversary alongside Yoon Bomi’s marriage, earning many congratulations.
On the 13th, it was revealed that Girls’ Generation’s Tiffany and actor Byun Yo-han are dating with plans to marry next fall, attracting attention.
At that time, Tiffany shared on her personal SNS, “I am in a sincere relationship with someone with the intention to marry. He has given me a hopeful and positive outlook on the world and is a comforting presence.” She emphasized that although no wedding date has been set, she will inform fans directly when any important decision is made.
Byun Yo-han also expressed his affection for Tiffany in a letter to fans, saying being together inspires him to be a better person.
