Former BIGBANG member T.O.P (Choi Seung-hyun) is making a solo comeback.
On January 1st, T.O.P uploaded a teaser video on his personal channel, announcing the release of a new song with the message “A NEW ALBUM IS ON THE WAY. TOP SPOT – 다중관점 [ANOTHER DIMENSION].”
The video features T.O.P writing the album title himself, signaling his solo return and new activities in 2026.
In 2016, T.O.P was convicted of marijuana use and sentenced to 10 months in prison, suspended for two years. During his military service as a public service worker, he faced suspicions of receiving special treatment by taking excessive sick leaves without submitting medical certificates.
After leaving BIGBANG, T.O.P made a return by appearing in Netflix’s ‘Squid Game’ Season 2, released in December 2024. Following the release, he also spoke in interviews.
Last year, T.O.P announced his return by appearing in ‘Squid Game’ Season 3. This year, he has drawn attention by announcing a comeback as a singer rather than an actor.
