Singer G-Dragon has been invited as the only Korean artist to France’s ‘Yellow Pieces Gala’ for the second consecutive year.
He is set to perform at the ‘Yellow Pieces Gala’ (Le Gala des Pièces Jaunes), a prominent French charity event, on the 22nd at La Défense Arena in Paris.
The invitation, extended by French First Lady Brigitte Macron, who also serves as the president of the hospital foundation, marks his second consecutive year as the sole Korean artist invited.
The event, spearheaded by the hospital foundation Opération Pièces Jaunes, aims to raise funds for the construction of children’s hospitals and mental health care for teenagers. G-Dragon, deeply aligned with the charity’s mission, readily agreed to participate again at the First Lady’s suggestion, aiming to spread a positive influence to global fans through his performance.
Last year, G-Dragon attended as a representative of Korean artists and received enthusiastic applause from local fans in Paris.
His exceptional stage presence and sophisticated manner garnered acclaim from local media and audiences, significantly contributing to global awareness of the charity event. This trust and his success led to his re-invitation, marking him as the only Korean artist to participate for two consecutive years.
Additionally, during his recent ‘G-DRAGON 2025 WORLD TOUR [Übermensch]’, he captivated approximately 29,000 spectators, filling La Défense Arena in Paris, the same venue for the charity event.
G-Dragon’s performance at the ‘Yellow Pieces Gala’ will take place on the 22nd, with the live broadcast scheduled for January 30th on local terrestrial channel France2.
