Singer G-Dragon claimed the first trophy at ‘MMA2025’.
The 2025 Melon Music Awards (The 17th Melon Music Awards, ‘MMA2025’) took place at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul on the 20th. Actor Ahn Jae-hyun presented the ‘TOP10’ award.
Ahn Jae-hyun introduced the award, stating, “The first trophy goes to the top 10 teams who not only achieved great results on the Melon chart but also received strong support from fans.”
G-Dragon was the first among the TOP10 artists to be called.
Taking the stage amid applause from fellow artists, G-Dragon humorously adjusted the microphone, remarking, “I’m a bit short…”
He expressed his delight at being the first winner, adding, “I want to share this honor with the artists who will be named soon. Thank you to the VIP (fan club).”
Girl group IVE was announced as the second TOP10 honoree. Liz thanked their fans, saying, “We want to beautifully craft our future together. Thank you.”
Meanwhile, the ‘2025 Melon Music Awards’ featured appearances by artists such as G-Dragon, Jay Park, 10CM, Zico, EXO, WOODZ, Jennie, aespa, IVE, Hanroro, BOYNEXTDOOR, RIIZE, PLAVE, NCT WISH, ILLIT, Hearts2Hearts, KiiiKiii, ALLDAY PROJECT, IDID, and ALPHA DRIVE ONE.
