According to Xportsnews, singer G-Dragon mentioned Yang Hyun-suk in his acceptance speech, and an agreement has been reached for BIGBANG members to hold a concert with YG Entertainment (hereafter YG), hinting at their unwavering ‘familyship.’

On the 4th, YG’s Executive Producer Yang Hyun-suk announced, “We have agreed to hold a concert with the BIGBANG members.”

Yang added, “There won’t be any difficulties as we’ve been working together for a long time,” and “All YG staff will do their best to create a perfect and wonderful concert.”

Currently, BIGBANG members G-Dragon, Taeyang, and Daesung have left YG and are active with different agencies. Nonetheless, they are anticipated to reunite with their former agency, YG, for the concert, demonstrating their unique ‘familyship.’

Previously, G-Dragon garnered attention by first mentioning Yang Hyun-suk and the YG family in his acceptance speech at the ‘2024 MAMA Awards,’ where he appeared for the first time in nine years.

At that time, he said, “There are so many people to thank, including Hyun-suk hyung (Yang Hyun-suk), YG family, our new colleagues Galaxy Corporation, and my beloved members. Though they aren’t visible now, I thank all the yellow lights that helped us return gloriously, and I am very grateful to VIPs (BIGBANG’s fandom).”

Their ongoing loyalty, despite them no longer being under the same roof, was evident.

Some opined that it was natural for G-Dragon to mention Yang and YG in his speech, given their 20-year-long companionship, including his trainee days.

Furthermore, YG drew attention by willingly transferring the trademark rights for G-Dragon’s stage names, including ‘G-Dragon,’ ‘GD,’ and ‘G.D,’ when he moved to Galaxy Corporation.

Meanwhile, last month at a fan meeting, G-Dragon expressed anticipation for a comeback, saying, “BIGBANG is making a 20th anniversary comeback this year. As a member and a fan, I’m looking forward to it, and I believe all the members feel the same.”

Former member T.O.P also hinted at the release of his first full album, ‘Multiple Perspectives.’
