H1-KEY Achieves ‘Career High’ with 10-Fold Increase in First-Week Sales and First Place on Music Broadcasts

The group H1-KEY has set off a signal of achieving a ‘career high.’

According to Hanteo Chart, a domestic album tallying site, as of August 5th (7:00 PM KST), H1-KEY’s second mini-album ‘Seoul Dreaming,’ released on August 30th, surpassed 72,400 copies in first-week sales.

This achievement is a remarkable increase of over 10 times compared to their previous mini-album ‘Rose Blossom.’

Furthermore, ‘Seoul Dreaming’ entered the top album charts on iTunes and Apple Music in seven countries, including Singapore, Mexico, Brazil, Canada, and Thailand, right after its release. It also secured the 2nd place on the Hanteo Chart’s ‘Real-time Physical Album Chart’ as of September 5th.

H1-KEY’s success doesn’t end here. On September 4th, they won the ‘2023 Brand of the Year’ award in the ‘Female Idol (Rising Star)’ category, as announced by the Korean Consumer Forum. Moreover, on September 5th, they achieved their first-ever music broadcast trophy since their debut by taking 1st place on SBS’s ‘The Show’ with their new song ‘SEOUL (Such a Beautiful City).’

‘Seoul Dreaming’ is H1-KEY’s second series that expresses ‘inner strength,’ a new album that is sad but beautiful, fragile yet brilliant, encapsulating our dreams. It includes a total of seven songs, including the double title tracks ‘SEOUL’ and ‘Don’t Turn Off the Lights (Time to Shine),’ as well as ‘Low-key Scared But H1-KEY Ready’ and ‘Magical Dream.’

Meanwhile, since the release of their second mini-album ‘Seoul Dreaming’ on August 30th, H1-KEY has been actively engaged in various music broadcasts and activities.
