Has BTS Truly Reflected on Their Disbandment Comments? “HYBE, Announce Our Comeback Soon”

BTS expressed their strong desire for a comeback during a live broadcast on the fan community platform Weverse on the 16th.

Jimin shared, “We’ve been practicing together and meeting in the evenings to chat.”

RM said, “I’m desperate to make a comeback soon. I hate this year-end. When will the company announce our comeback date? Please announce it soon, HYBE,” showing his eagerness.

Jimin agreed, “Time feels longer than expected, and it’s frustrating,” while Jungkook said, “We’re not even 10% ready right now.” Suga added, “They said they’ll announce it soon,” raising anticipation.

RM hinted at their return, saying, “Aren’t we meeting tomorrow?”

All BTS members completed their military service this year, and they announced a new release in March next year, along with a large-scale world tour.

Previously, the members shared photos from their practice room, showing they were busy preparing.

Anticipation for their full-group comeback is high due to the long pause in group activities during military service despite individual pursuits. Their last full-group release was the digital single “Take Two” in June 2023, celebrating their 10th debut anniversary. A comeback is seen as crucial to calm the recently disrupted fanbase.

Earlier, Jungkook was caught up in dating rumors with aespa’s Winter. Despite several signs like couple tattoos, both agencies maintained a “no comment” stance, prompting some fans to protest with trucks outside the agency.

Days later, RM openly discussed during a live broadcast the frequent threats to their group activities and why a full-group comeback hadn’t happened in the second half of the year.

He said, “I have considered whether disbanding or pausing the team would be better countless times. We continue as a group because of our love for each other and our respect and love for you.”

His mention of disbandment alarmed fans, and RM apologized, saying, “I feel sorry for tiring many ARMYs with the live broadcast. I’ve received many concerned messages. I regret going live; it was out of frustration. Sorry. I’ll focus on making music, practicing choreography, creating new content, and living well.”
