HYBE’s global girl group CATSEYE earned a nomination for Best New Artist at the Grammy Awards, but ultimately did not win.

The 68th Grammy Awards took place on the 1st (local time) at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California.

Pop star Olivia Dean took home the award for Best New Artist, one of the night’s General Field awards.

CATSEYE, widely considered a strong contender, did not clinch the award.

Prior to the announcement of the winner, CATSEYE performed their hit song ‘Gnarly’ on a special stage alongside all eight Best New Artist nominees. Their overwhelming performance and unique stage presence earned a standing ovation from other pop stars attending the ceremony.

Meanwhile, at the Grammy Awards’ Premiere Ceremony, a pre-ceremony event, CATSEYE also earned a nomination for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance with their hit ‘Gabriela,’ but did not win.
