Girls’ Generation member Hyoyeon discussed past conflicts within the group, Xportsnews reported.
On January 19, the YouTube channel ‘Donghaemool and Baekdooeunhyeok’ released a video titled ‘What’s going on? Hyoyeon, the Eternal Dancing Machine, Reflects on the Past while Chasing Down Her Brothers for 30 Minutes | This WayS3.’
Hyoyeon, appearing as the third Girls’ Generation guest after Taeyeon and Sooyoung, shared stories from the group’s past.

During the conversation, Donghae inquired if Girls’ Generation members ever fought. Hyoyeon responded, “We hardly ever fight. We often hear about other girl groups fighting.”
Hyoyeon added, “I think disagreements can arise if you don’t agree on work or ideas. How can opinions always be the same? But we usually take a step back to observe, so we don’t fight much.”

She further admitted, “If you had to find a fighter in Girls’ Generation, it would be me,” which garnered attention.
Donghae then asked about the biggest conflict during their peak activities. Hyoyeon revealed, “It was me,” recounting a time she fought with several members simultaneously.

Recalling that incident, Hyoyeon stated, “There was a situation where we couldn’t attend rehearsal because of me. In such cases, it causes issues with the broadcast station. I was late because I was called back while skiing. I apologized to the broadcast station, but I did not apologize to the members. The members were more upset about the professional implications than concerned about my well-being, like asking ‘Were you sick?'”
