Red Velvet’s Irene has returned as a ‘solo queen’.
On the 30th at 6 PM, Irene released her first full album “Biggest Fan” and the music video for the title track of the same name.
It has been about a year and four months since Irene released her first mini-album, “Like A Flower,” in November 2024. Irene expressed that she “feels nervous, relieved, and excited,” adding that she hopes the album will “be there for Luvies whenever they need it.”
The new album encapsulates Irene’s personal growth, portraying her as her own strongest supporter, encouraged by longtime fans. It boasts rich emotional depth and musical variety, further showcasing her as a solo artist.
The title track “Biggest Fan” is a pop dance song with a bright energy, featuring a lively groove with drum-based narration rap and addictive chants. The song conveys a sincere message of positive influence to fans, based on her realized values.
Lyrics such as “Watch carefully when this door opens / Revealing My worth / This diverse Aura / It’s all inside me / In the past times / My open worlds / Every moment makes me shine more” and “I’m your biggest fan / Yeah just say it shout love you more Babe / Even if you say you’re not looking at me / Still the eyes on me” express the confidence to openly show support as a fan, underscoring the mutual admiration between Irene and her fans.
The album includes a total of 10 tracks such as “Best Believe” singing the anticipation for days to come, the mystical “Don’t Wanna Get Up” depicting transcendence, “Face To Face” delivering a calm resonance, “Million Miles Away” vividly expressing free moments, the autobiographical “Love Can Make A Way”, the thrilling “SPIT IT OUT” offering catharsis, “Black Halo” evoking tension and thrill, “MTV (My Timeless Video)” conveying sincere feelings to fans, and “Wasteland” expressing firm determination.
In the accompanying music video, Irene appears as a fashion creative director, with her professional and stylish presence garnering widespread admiration.

Her performance is also a key highlight.
The choreography for this comeback incorporates movements that respond to fans’ words and dynamic hand movements, harmonizing with the flow alongside dancers, allowing fans to enjoy Irene’s multifaceted charms.
Meanwhile, following her comeback, Irene will connect with global fans through her first solo concert tour in Asia, starting at the Jangchung Gymnasium in Seoul from May 23-24, spanning five Asian regions.
