The agency of the group TWICE has issued a warning to those invading the members’ privacy.
On the morning of the 15th, JYP Entertainment (hereafter JYP) posted a statement titled “On Protecting Artists’ Privacy and Safety” on the fan communication platform, Fans.
The statement revealed, “Recently, during private schedules and non-public movements, there have been incidents of route invasions, excessive approaches and filming, repeated attempts at conversation and calls by some fans. Such acts may cause psychological stress to the artists, especially as they frequently travel domestically and overseas.”
JYP emphasized, “To protect the privacy and ensure a safe environment for movements, we recommend as follows: Please refrain from approaching and filming in private movement routes, unauthorized filming at airports, during vacations, family visits, personal schedules, and close-up photography or following during movements are considered invasions of privacy.”
They also stated, “Please avoid capturing and exposing the artists’ family, acquaintances, and friends moving with them. Not only should the artists’ privacy be respected, but so should that of those around them. Continuous conversations, phone call requests, asking for numbers, excessive autograph demands, or forcing letters and gifts on the artists during personal and official schedules can be overwhelming. Even when the artists themselves request restraint, persisting in these actions is undesirable. Blocking or excessively closing the distance to film the artists wherever they go poses a risk of safety incidents.”
The agency concluded, “If these acts are repeated or deemed to cause inconvenience to the artists, we may take necessary measures to protect them. We are committed to ensuring that the artists can perform and rest in a stable environment. We request mature consideration and cooperation from all fans once more.”

We sincerely thank all the fans who continuously show love and encouragement to TWICE, and we would like to provide guidance regarding the protection of the artists’ privacy.
Recently, there have been confirmations of route invasions, excessive approaches, and filming during private schedules and non-public movements by some fans, which could induce psychological stress and inconvenience especially due to frequent travels and overseas schedules.
1. To protect the artists’ privacy and ensure a safe moving environment, we provide the following guidance:
Please refrain from approaching and filming during private movements. Unauthorized filming at airports, during vacations, family visits, personal schedules, or any personal time and movements can be considered invasions of privacy. We request respect for the artists’ personal time and movements.
2. Please respect the privacy of others around the artist.
Refrain from exposing and filming family, acquaintances, and friends moving with the artists. Privacy of those surrounding the artists should also be respected.
3. Avoid excessive communication and personal requests.
Consistently talking to, requesting phone connections, asking for numbers, demanding excessive autographs, or attempting to force letters and gifts during personal and official schedules can be a serious burden. Continuation of such behavior is undesirable even when the artist directly requests restraint.
4. Maintain safe distances and avoid obstructing movement for safety.
Blocking or filming the artists from an excessively close range anytime, anywhere can lead to dangerous safety incidents. Please maintain appropriate distances for safety.
If these actions are repeated or inconvenience is caused to the artists, we inform you that we may take necessary measures to protect them.
