The fictional girl group Huntress (Lumi, Joy, Mira) from the Netflix original film “K-Pop Demon Hunters” (“K-Demon Hunters”) has been featured on the cover of the American weekly magazine, Time.
On the 9th (local time), Time named “K-Demon Hunters” as one of the “Innovations of the Year,” featuring Huntress striking a pose on its cover.
Huntress acts as “hunters” who ward off evil spirits with their songs, creating barriers to protect the Earth from malevolent entities.

The film’s OST “Golden” is a renowned track, topping various charts, including the Billboard chart and the UK Official Singles Chart, making history in K-Pop.
The attention-grabbing aspect is that the selected cover photo by Time was directly replicated from a scene in “K-Demon Hunters” where the character Mira is seen reading a magazine with a Korean cover while visiting a herbal medicine shop.
However, the Time cover does not include the Korean characters that were seen in the scene. Nevertheless, many are fascinated by the idea of a fictional K-Pop girl group gracing the magazine cover.
Meanwhile, “K-Demon Hunters” has been nominated in three categories at the 83rd Golden Globe Awards, set to take place on January 11, 2026: Best Animated Feature, Best Original Song, and Best Well-Made Blockbuster.
