
K-pop girl group Huntrix from the Netflix original film ‘K-Pop Demon Hunters’ (directed by Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans) is set to take the stage in a New Year’s event.
On December 2nd (local time), ABC announced the lineup for its flagship New Year’s special program ‘Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2026′ (‘New Year’s Rockin’ Eve’).
‘New Year’s Rockin’ Eve’ is the largest New Year’s countdown live show in the U.S., welcoming viewers worldwide from December 31st to the first day of the new year with performances by prominent musicians.
The lineup includes artists such as Chance the Rapper, 50 Cent, Demi Lovato, OneRepublic, Mariah Carey, Charlie Puth, New Kids on the Block, and Post Malone. K-pop artists LE SSERAFIM and Huntrix are also featured.
Previously on October 4th, Lee Jae, Audrey Nuna, and Ray Ami, who provided the singing voices for Huntrix, made a surprise appearance on NBC’s ‘Saturday Night Live’ (SNL) to debut the live performance of ‘Golden.’
They also appeared on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ (the ‘Jimmy Fallon Show’) to perform ‘Golden’ in full for the first time, gaining significant attention.
Having performed ‘Golden’ at Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, they are poised to highlight K-pop music again in the new year.
