Kep1er (Yujin, Xiaoting, Mashiro, Chaehyun, Dayeon, Hikaru, Huening Bahiyyih, Youngeun, Yeseo) attended ‘KCON LA 2023,’ held at the Crypto.com Arena and the LA Convention Center in Los Angeles, USA on the 19th (local time).
Donning navy striped outfits with a classic mood, Kep1er made a powerful appearance on stage. They charmed the audience with their title track “Giddy” from their fourth mini-album ‘LOVESTRUCK!’ portraying the emotions of nine girls encountering love for the first time. They also delivered an upgraded energy with the track “Back to the City.” Notably, the nine members spread out in a 360-degree formation on an open stage, showcasing their performance and engaging in closer communication with the audience.
As a special stage, Kep1er performed Girls’ Generation’s “Mr.Mr.” The group’s flawless performance and charismatic stage presence garnered explosive reactions from the local fans. The audience in the venue stood up and cheered, enjoying Kep1er’s performance to the fullest.
Attending ‘KCON LA’ for the second consecutive year after 2022, Kep1er expressed their gratitude and happiness, saying, “When we came to LA last year, we have fond memories of enjoying the stage with many KCON-ers and Kep1rians welcoming us with enthusiasm. This year, we are thankful and happy to be welcomed with such loud cheers.”
In addition to the main performance, Kep1er also interacted with local fans through various events like ‘Meet & Greet’ and ‘Shall We K-POP Dance?’ They participated in speed dances to random music, taught dances to local fans, and engaged in friendly dance battles, actively promoting K-Pop and connecting with their fans.
