Singer and actor Lee Junho solidified his status as a major star, taking home three awards.
Lee Junho attended the ‘2025 SEOULCON APAN STAR AWARDS’ at Art Hall 1 of Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) in Seoul on the 29th.
He won the Popularity Award for Male Actor and the Global Star Award, followed by the Best Actor Award in a Medium-Length Drama. Taking home three trophies, he demonstrated his immense global popularity and outstanding acting skills.
Upon receiving the ‘Triple Crown,’ Lee Junho expressed his gratitude, stating, “I know these awards would not be possible without the efforts of my fans. I always thank all the fans who support me.”
He added, “This year, working on ‘Typhoon Family,’ I felt like I went through typhoon-like days. I want to thank writer Jang Hyun and director Lee Najung for teaching me the love that can overcome walls and for creating that world.”
He continued, “Playing the character Kang Taepung made me reflect deeply on family. I hope everyone can stay healthy and happy together for a long time. I wish you a good end of the year and a Happy New Year.”
Throughout this year, Lee Junho showcased his talents across TV and OTT platforms. On tvN’s ‘Typhoon Family,’ he demonstrated his detailed acting and exceptional ability to portray a character, delivering a warm message that resonates with all generations.
Additionally, in the Netflix series ‘Cashero,’ he played the unprecedented cash hero role of Sang-ung, making a significant impact as the year concludes.
His passionate performance led ‘Cashero’ to top the Korean Netflix TOP 10 series category just two days after its release, and the series continues to draw global attention, achieving record-breaking milestones.
Lee Junho continues to impress as a “trustworthy actor,” writing an ongoing success story.
After achieving significant success at the ’10th Anniversary Asia Artist Awards 2025,’ he concludes the year positively at the ‘2025 APAN Star Awards.’ All eyes are on his future endeavors in the coming year, 2026.
