Actor Lee Soo-hyuk discussed his close friendship with G-Dragon.
On January 22, the YouTube channel ‘Study King Jin Genius’ released a video titled ‘The Model Force of Lee Soo-hyuk and Hong Jin-kyung Who Dominated Cheongdam-dong’.
During the video, host Hong Jin-kyung asked Lee Soo-hyuk, “Did you start modeling at 17? Have you been friends with G-Dragon since then?”
Lee Soo-hyuk responded, “I was friends with Jiyong even before that. We fought all the time. I used to tease him, saying, ‘You said you were going to rap, so why are you an idol?’ I didn’t know it would turn out this way,” highlighting his unique bond with G-Dragon.
Hong Jin-kyung also expressed curiosity about Lee Soo-hyuk’s family. Lee Soo-hyuk shared, “I was born at Soonchunhyang Hospital. I have a younger sister.”
He continued, “In Daechi-dong, all the schools are nearby. My sister never mentioned that I was her brother. She even told me not to come to her graduation. Looking back, I realized she was living her own life.”
He added, “If I had a celebrity in the family, I would have definitely used that to my advantage, but she didn’t. I respect her for that, so I try not to mention her.”
Hong Jin-kyung then inquired, “Were you famous from a young age?” to which Lee Soo-hyuk admitted, “I debuted at 17 and was well-known throughout high school. Jiyong was famous as well.”
