Hollywood actresses Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway are set to meet Yoo Jae-suk.
According to Xportsnews, Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway from the movie ‘The Devil Wears Prada 2’ (directed by David Frankel) will appear on tvN’s ‘You Quiz on the Block’.
The team behind ‘The Devil Wears Prada 2’ has confirmed a global tour ahead of its April 29 release, including Seoul alongside cities such as Tokyo, Shanghai, London, and Mexico City. They plan to visit Korea in early April to fulfill promotional schedules.
This marks Meryl Streep’s first visit to Korea to meet her fans. Anne Hathaway previously visited Korea in 2018 as a cosmetics brand ambassador, making this her first visit in eight years and her first for a film promotion.
To promote the film, they are scheduled to meet with Yoo Jae-suk on ‘You Quiz on the Block’. Fans are eagerly anticipating the meeting of these international stars with the beloved host Yoo Jae-suk.
‘The Devil Wears Prada 2’ is the long-awaited sequel to the 2006 blockbuster that grossing over $326 million worldwide.
In addition to Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway, the film also stars Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci. However, only Streep and Hathaway will be visiting Korea.
The story follows Miranda (played by Meryl Streep), editor of the legendary fashion magazine Runway, as she reunites with Andrea (played by Anne Hathaway), who returns 20 years later as a planning editor, and Emily, who has become an executive at a luxury brand. The film is set to release on April 29.
