Min Hee-jin, former CEO of ADOR, has launched her independent label, ooak records, and has begun a project to debut a next-generation boy group.
On February 24, ooak records announced an audition call on its official website, inviting undiscovered boys worldwide. The audition targets males born between 2008 and 2013, and anyone can apply regardless of nationality or residence.
The audition poster, previously unveiled on social media, resembles an aesthetically pleasing piece of artwork. It conveys a message of searching for boys with pure musical passion, diverse personas, and immeasurable potential.
The phrase, “This boy will soon be known worldwide,” exudes confidence in the new aesthetic values ooak records aims to present.

The most striking element is the male image featured on the poster, the same one briefly seen in the campaign video announcing the label’s launch on February 5.
The enigmatic gaze of this unknown boy sparks curiosity about whether he will be the protagonist of a new myth or the archetype of ‘boyhood’ we have all been searching for.
The public audition announcement has generated significant buzz on online communities and social media. Fans are reacting explosively, speculating whether debut members have already been chosen and demanding to see the real-life version of the boy from the poster.
This highlights the great anticipation for the new world Min Hee-jin plans to create, beyond just the introduction of a new idol.
An ooak records representative stated, “This project will focus on the inherent beauty of boys and the musical narratives they create, stepping away from conventional frameworks. The world will witness the process of a single seed growing into a vast forest.”
Audition applications are open from February 24 to March 27 on the official website. Following this recruitment, ooak records plans to gradually reveal the boundless paths of these boys.
