In the teaser trailer, BTS members RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook express their endless love for “ARMY” (their fandom). Their sincere messages range from RM saying “We promised to return to our fans” to Jungkook’s heartfelt “I really miss you all.” V mentions “It feels like everything has changed,” while RM adds, “I believe the seven of us can keep moving forward and swimming through this.” Their genuine love for music shines as they prepare to return with their fifth studio album, “ARIRANG,” after three years and nine months.

The accompanying teaser poster features BTS standing against the magnificent backdrop of Gwanghwamun, showcasing their intense aura. This image heightens anticipation for their reunion with fans, as the event is rooted in the traditional Korean setting of Seoul’s Gwanghwamun and will be broadcast worldwide through Netflix.

“BTS Comeback Live: ARIRANG,” held around Seoul’s Gwanghwamun Square, will be broadcast live worldwide exclusively via Netflix. It marks Netflix’s first live event broadcast from Korea and its first music performance to be streamed. With a Netflix subscription, fans can enjoy BTS’s comeback performance up close. Netflix has engaged global audiences with its immersive movie, series, and entertainment content, and is now expanding into live content. “BTS Comeback Live: ARIRANG” offers a new viewing experience, allowing fans worldwide to enjoy the same stage at the same time.

The event will be directed by “live performance master” Hamish Hamilton, known for producing top-tier global stages including the Emmy Awards, Grammy Awards, Oscars, Super Bowl Halftime Shows, and the opening ceremonies for the 2012 London Olympics. He has also directed performances by Madonna, Beyoncé, and Rihanna. This promises more than just a concert broadcast, offering a new live viewing experience that closely follows the movements and emotions on stage.

The “BTS Comeback Live: ARIRANG” event will air globally and exclusively on Netflix on March 21 at 8 PM.
