Oh My Girl’s Hyojung has tested positive for COVID-19, leading to the suspension of all her activities.
Her agency, WM Entertainment, stated on the 31st, “Hyojung received a positive result for COVID-19 through a preemptive rapid antigen test due to mild symptoms.”
Currently, Oh My Girl is actively promoting their comeback song ‘Listen to Summer’ after a year and four months. WM Entertainment conveyed, “All schedules will be suspended for five days, and necessary measures and rest will be taken.”
In addition, other members of Oh My Girl, namely Mimi, YooA, Seunghee, Yubin, and Arin, have all tested negative, and there have been no special abnormal symptoms reported. As a result, during Hyojung’s isolation period, scheduled activities will proceed with the five remaining members.
WM Entertainment promised, “We will resume activities for Hyojung after confirming her full recovery, and we will do our best to prioritize the health and safety of our artist and fully devote ourselves to her treatment.”
