SHINee member Key, who had temporarily halted his activities, is preparing for his comeback.
On March 31, the official Golden Disc Awards social media account posted a message to fans, playfully encouraging “team leaders worldwide” to “turn a blind eye” if their employees take leave on Friday, May 29, calling it an “unmissable day for Shawols (SHINee World, fandom name)” for their “annual sponsorship organization performance report.”
The post continued, announcing “SHINee’s first solo concert in a year, ‘THE INVERT.'” It added, “SHINee is back. Let’s all succeed in the pre-sale today at 8 PM and meet at KSPO DOME!”
SHINee will hold their seventh solo concert ‘THE INVERT’ for three days from May 29 to 31 at the KSPO DOME in Olympic Park, Seoul.
This concert, the first solo performance by all four SHINee members in a year, promises to showcase their musical world through unique productions and new perspectives, aligning with the title ‘INVERT,’ which means ‘to flip’ or ‘to change.’

The event holds particular significance as it will mark Key’s first appearance before fans in approximately five months, effectively signaling his return to the stage.
Last year, comedian Park Na-rae faced allegations of illegal medical practices, and Key became embroiled in controversy due to his connection to a woman referred to as ‘Injection Auntie’ A. The allegations surfaced after Key’s dog was seen on A’s social media, alongside autographs and gifts.
Key, who had remained silent throughout the controversy, completed his scheduled domestic and international activities before issuing a statement. He acknowledged, “In situations where hospital visits were recently difficult, I received several home treatments. I believed A was a doctor and did not consider home treatment an issue,” subsequently halting his activities.
Consequently, he departed from programs such as MBC’s ‘I Live Alone’ and tvN’s ‘Amazing Saturday.’
As activities resume, there is keen interest in what Key will say and how he will present himself to fans for the first time since the controversy erupted.
