2PM member and actor Taecyeon is reportedly getting married this April.
Reports emerged on the 25th that Taecyeon will hold a wedding ceremony on April 24 in Seoul. A representative from Taecyeon’s agency, 51k, cautiously told Xportsnews, “Given that the bride is not a celebrity, we find it difficult to disclose specific details, including the schedule. We ask for your understanding.”
Taecyeon had previously announced his impending marriage last November, planning the ceremony for spring 2026. In a handwritten letter released at the time, Taecyeon stated, “I’ve promised to spend my life with someone who has understood and trusted me for a long time. We will become a supportive presence for each other and walk together in the future.”
After announcing his marriage, Taecyeon garnered attention at the end of last year by attending the ‘2025 KBS Drama Awards.’ Upon receiving the Excellence Award, he directly addressed his fiancée, stating, “I sincerely thank my bride-to-be. Jihye, I love you.”
His fiancée is not a celebrity. The couple publicly acknowledged their relationship in 2020 and have been quietly dating since. They are set to marry approximately six years after going public with their relationship. This makes Taecyeon the second member of 2PM, following Chansung, to marry.
Meanwhile, Taecyeon is set to star in the Netflix series ‘Soul Mate.’
