Q from the group THE BOYZ participated in the Ice Bucket Challenge.
On the 12th, Q of THE BOYZ shared a participation video for the ‘2023 Ice Bucket Challenge’ on the official social media account and expressed his commitment to the challenge.
In the video, Q revealed, “I have been nominated by actor Park Bogum to participate in the ‘2023 Ice Bucket Challenge'” and added, “Your warm attention is needed until the establishment of the first ALS Care Hospital in South Korea. Please support us in building the first ALS Care Hospital in Korea.” He then poured ice water on himself along with the message.
Following the challenge, Q nominated WEi Seokhwa, choreographer Baek Goyoung, and THE BOYZ member Sunwoo to continue the challenge.
The ‘Ice Bucket Challenge’ in which Q participated is a relay donation campaign to support patients with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and their families. Started in 2014, this campaign has spread worldwide. Those who wish to participate upload a video of themselves pouring ice water over their heads within 24 hours on social media and then nominate three more people to continue the challenge and make donations.
