BTS’s V and BLACKPINK’s Jennie have once again found themselves caught up in dating rumors. This time, it’s about a witnessed Paris date.
On the 18th, a video spread through Twitter and other social media platforms, showing a man and a woman presumed to be V and Jennie, walking hand in hand along the Seine River in Paris, France.
The claim that the man and woman in the video were V and Jennie grew stronger, as they were seen wearing hats to cover their faces, and staff members were following them from behind.
As the video spread, V and Jennie were once again enveloped in dating rumors. Similar to the previous dating rumors, neither their respective agencies, HYBE and YG Entertainment, made any specific comments. However, with the faces of the man and woman clearly visible in the video, the conviction about their romantic involvement has deepened.
Particularly, V departed for France on the 15th for a fashion brand photoshoot and event, while Jennie is set to attend the 76th Cannes Film Festival screening on the 22nd in Cannes, a city in the south of France, for her debut acting role in the American HBO original drama ‘The Idol.’ These plans further add credibility to their dating rumors.
Previously, in May of last year, dating rumors sparked when V and Jennie were reportedly spotted together in Jeju Island. Numerous posts on social media shared accounts and photos of the two in Jeju, but their agencies did not provide any specific explanations, citing “personal privacy.”
Furthermore, in September of last year, private photos of a man and a woman presumed to be V and Jennie were consecutively leaked, including a photo suspected to be taken at Jennie’s house.
Additionally, there have been several pieces of evidence capturing the dating rumors, such as suspicions of “couple Instagram posts,” rumors of a New York date, and simultaneous attendance at a Harry Styles concert. However, both sides have yet to clearly state their positions regarding their dating status.
