
Rumors are circulating that renowned Hollywood actor Hugh Jackman, a known Korean culture enthusiast, recently visited Korea, drawing significant attention.
Recently, a social media post, which included photos, claimed to have spotted Hugh Jackman at the Starfield Library in COEX, Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
The post’s author, identified only as ‘A,’ shared, “Seeing this person in Korea by chance was so shocking that my heart was racing. Even though no one around recognized him, my heart was shouting.”
They added, “I kept asking myself, ‘Is that Wolverine… transference… ?’ I wanted to tell my husband, but he disappeared from view while I was calling him. That was him, right?”
The accompanying photo shows a man in a shirt and mask gazing intently. Even with more than half of his face covered, his strong resemblance to Hugh Jackman has prompted many to question the reason for his potential visit to Korea.
Born in 1968 and set to turn 58, Hugh Jackman debuted in 1994. He has established himself as a prominent fan of Korean culture, having visited the country numerous times.
Most recently, he visited Korea with Ryan Reynolds to promote the 2024 film ‘Deadpool and Wolverine.’
