The web variety show spin-off ‘Poonghyang High School 2,’ from ‘Pinggyego,’ is already generating significant buzz even before its official release.
According to Xportsnews, the pre-meeting content titled ‘The Pre-Meeting is Pinggyego,’ uploaded on Antenna Plus’ YouTube channel ‘Ddeun Ddeun’ on the 17th, has garnered 3.56 million views in just six days, with over 2,170 comments attesting to high viewer interest.
In the released pre-meeting content, Yoo Jae-suk, Lee Sung-min, Ji Seok-jin, and Yang Se-chan earnestly plan a ‘No App Impromptu Foreign Trip,’ selecting destinations and dress codes, which generated considerable laughter. They further enhance the humor by pledging to rotate communication responsibilities and guaranteeing each member’s meal choice at least once, raising expectations for an upgraded level of fun.
Buoyed by the enthusiastic attention, the trailer for ‘Poonghyang High School 2’ has also been unveiled. It features the four taking group photos in Vienna, Austria, and Budapest, Hungary. Despite fleeting moments of fun, their real travel adventures promise to entertain, as they adhere to their ‘No Reservation, No App, No Plan’ policy, encountering setbacks like having to turn back from places requiring reservations or wandering the streets looking for accommodation.
Meanwhile, ‘Poonghyang High School 2’ is set to premiere its first episode on the 24th. It will air every Saturday at 9 a.m. on the YouTube channel ‘Ddeun Ddeun’ and every Sunday at 7:50 p.m. on ENA. The TV version on ENA will feature an extended cut with additional unseen footage.
