The sibling duo AKMU has revealed the name of their new agency.
On the 20th, AKMU announced via the fan platform Weverse that their agency would change to ‘Inspiration Well’ following the termination of their exclusive contract with YG Entertainment. The contract transition date is set for the 27th.
The new agency name, ‘Inspiration Well,’ was also the title of exhibitions held by Lee Chan-hyuk in 2023 and 2025. At that time, Lee Chan-hyuk remarked, “I will now reveal the secret of where I get my inspiration.”
Previously, Xportsnews exclusively reported that AKMU would become independent after 12 years with YG Entertainment.
After ending their exclusive contract with YG Entertainment at the end of December, AKMU will establish an independent company with their longtime YG Entertainment manager.
The unveiling of the new agency name, ‘Inspiration Well,’ has heightened expectations for AKMU’s future activities.
