BabyMonster, YG’s next-generation girl group, made an indelible mark with their explosive live performance at ‘Gayo Daejeon,’ solidifying their presence.
On December 25, BabyMonster showcased the title track from their second mini-album, ‘WE GO UP,’ and the B-side track ‘PSYCHO’ at the ‘2025 SBS Gayo Daejeon,’ held at Incheon Inspire Arena.
Opening with ‘WE GO UP,’ BabyMonster immediately captivated the audience with their overwhelming vocal power and charisma. Their bold rapping, soaring high notes, and perfectly timed ad-libs delivered an electrifying performance. The synchronized choreography with backup dancers further amplified the song’s energy, igniting the venue.
The broadcast then featured the first-ever performance of ‘PSYCHO,’ which quickly shifted the mood with compelling expressions that perfectly matched the song’s mysterious vibe. Particularly in the latter half, their complete immersion in the concept and daring, head-banging-like performance drew enthusiastic cheers from the audience.
BabyMonster has consistently garnered significant attention for their flawless live performances at major year-end events. Their performances at last year’s ‘Gayo Daejeon’ and this year’s ‘MAMA Awards’ earned the most views among all artist videos on YouTube. Reviews for this ‘Gayo Daejeon’ praised their solid live vocals performed with handheld mics and their versatility in handling various genres, further raising expectations for their future activities.
Meanwhile, BabyMonster is currently on their ‘BABYMONSTER [LOVE MONSTERS] ASIA FAN CONCERT 2025-26,’ covering six cities with 12 shows. After receiving an explosive response at their debut ‘2025 MAMA AWARDS,’ where their performance garnered the highest views among all participants, the group plans to meet fans in Bangkok on the 27th and 28th, and in Taipei on January 2nd and 3rd.
