T.O.P, a former member of Big Bang, is garnering support from current Big Bang members through likes on his comeback post.

Online communities recently revealed that Big Bang’s Taeyang liked a post related to T.O.P’s comeback.

G-Dragon previously garnered attention after liking a post featuring the teaser for T.O.P’s new song. While G-Dragon is known to frequently like posts on social media, his actions drew particular notice given their long-standing partnership in Big Bang and as the unit GD&T.O.P.

Notably, Taeyang’s social media inactivity made his ‘like’ stand out. Both G-Dragon and Taeyang indirectly conveyed their support for former member T.O.P’s comeback by liking relevant posts.

T.O.P

In 2016, T.O.P received a 10-month prison sentence, suspended for two years, after being convicted of smoking marijuana. The incident led to T.O.P’s departure from Big Bang and a hint at retirement from the entertainment industry following a conflict with fans on social media.

However, he returned in December 2024 through season 2 of the Netflix series ‘Squid Game’. During an interview at the time, T.O.P expressed regret for harming Big Bang, stating, “I still feel too sorry to reach out.” He also ruled out the possibility of rejoining the group.

The three current Big Bang members are preparing for their upcoming 20th-anniversary activities, while T.O.P is set to release his first solo album, ‘Another Dimension,’ on April 3.

American artist Ed Ruscha and ‘Squid Game’ art director Chae Kyoung-sun contributed to T.O.P’s new album. Attention is now focused on what T.O.P’s first solo studio album will be like, amidst the support from current Big Bang members.
