K-pop group Billlie is set to join the music industry’s May comeback rush with their highly anticipated debut full-length album.
The seven-member group Billlie, consisting of Siyoon, Sheon, Tsuki, Moon Sua, Haram, Suhyeon, and Haruna, will release their first full-length album, ‘the collective soul and unconscious: chapter two,’ this May.
This marks Billlie’s first full-length album since their debut and continues the narrative from their second mini-album, ‘the collective soul and unconscious: chapter one,’ which featured the global hit ‘GingaMingaYo (the strange world).’
Billlie is loved as a ‘conceptual K-pop icon’ for organically connecting music and narrative. The group anticipates immense attention from domestic and international fans with the announcement of an unprecedentedly well-made album, encapsulating their unique storytelling and musical prowess.
Furthermore, through numerous hits such as ‘RING ma Bell (what a wonderful world),’ ‘EUNOIA,’ and ‘trampoline,’ prominent overseas media including TIME, Billboard, Apple Music, Teen Vogue, and NME have named their works among the best K-POP albums and songs.
Billlie was also nominated for Best K-POP Album at the 21st Korean Music Awards. DAZED recognized their albums for their solid musicality, naming them among the best K-POP songs in 2022 and 2024.
In January, the group demonstrated significant growth by entering the Melon HOT100 with their pre-release single ‘cloud palace ~ false awakening’ and having their albums listed on iTunes K-pop album charts in several countries, including Australia and Turkey.
Thanks to their rising domestic and international popularity, Billlie recently validated their distinctive musical prowess and industry buzz by winning the ‘Next Wave’ category at the 33rd Hanteo Music Awards 2025.
