BLACKPINK successfully concluded their performance in Singapore, the fifth city of their Asia tour, captivating 150,000 local fans.
BLACKPINK held the ‘BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR <DEADLINE> IN SINGAPORE’ on the 28th, 29th, and 30th of last month at Singapore National Stadium. They were the only K-pop artists to perform twice at this venue, highlighting their immense global influence.
In celebration of their concert, various events took place throughout Singapore after approximately two and a half years. Major landmarks such as the National Stadium and Singapore Flyer were illuminated in pink, and a spectacular light show set to BLACKPINK’s hit songs was held at Gardens by the Bay.
The festival atmosphere was electric even before the concert began and carried into the venue. BLACKPINK opened with ‘Kill This Love’ and ‘Pink Venom,’ mesmerizing audiences with their mature stage skills and overflowing energy.
Their impressive live performance, enhanced by high-quality production, created an immersive experience. Fireworks, pyrotechnics, lasers, and lighting effects dazzled attendees, while the large LED display on the stadium ceiling featured dynamic graphics and the word “Jump,” adding a fresh element.
Fans, known as BLINKs, responded with enthusiastic cheers and applause. BLACKPINK said, “Thanks to your love, we were able to return to Singapore after two years. We missed you and are happy to share this moment together.”
After wrapping up the Singapore concert, BLACKPINK is set to engage with fans in Japan on January 16th, 17th, and 18th in Tokyo, followed by performances in Hong Kong on the 24th, 25th, and 26th, completing their ‘BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR <DEADLINE>’ across 16 cities and 33 shows.
