Global sensation BLACKPINK has completed preparations and will make their full comeback on February 27.

On the 15th, agency YG Entertainment officially announced the comeback by posting ‘BLACKPINK 3rd MINI ALBUM [DEADLINE]’ on their official blog. The announcement kicked off comeback promotions with eye-catching motion graphics featuring the group’s signature colors.

Dynamic motion graphics depicted a streak of pink light rapidly cutting through darkness, leaving afterimages, accompanied by a racing sound that built excitement. They will release the third mini-album on February 27 at 1 PM KST.

The album title, ‘DEADLINE,’ shares its name with their ongoing world tour. This global trek began with a groundbreaking performance at Goyang Sports Complex last July and has since taken the group around the world. This comeback is anticipated to serve as a grand finale to their journey of connecting with global fans.

Known for setting numerous K-pop records and establishing themselves as a top global girl group, BLACKPINK’s new album will likely make a significant impact. Last year, their digital single ‘JUMP’ secured the group’s third No. 1 on the Billboard Global 200, setting a new record for a K-pop girl group.

YG Entertainment expressed gratitude to fans for their patient waiting, promising a high-quality musical return and requesting continued support.

Meanwhile, BLACKPINK is connecting with fans worldwide through the ‘BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR ‘, which spans 16 cities and 33 shows. They are scheduled to perform at Japan’s Tokyo Dome from the 16th to the 18th and will conclude the tour at Hong Kong’s Kai Tak Stadium from the 24th to the 26th.
