BLACKPINK Draws 165,000 Blinks to Tokyo Dome, World Tour Concludes in Hong Kong

BLACKPINK is nearing the final leg of their BORN PINK World Tour after successfully concluding three sold-out concerts at Japan’s Tokyo Dome.

BLACKPINK held their BORN PINK World Tour concerts at Tokyo Dome on January 16, 17, and 18. These events marked their third time performing at Tokyo Dome, following previous shows in 2019 and 2023. The sold-out concerts attracted a total of 165,000 attendees, reaffirming the group’s unparalleled drawing power in Japan.

To celebrate the concert, pop-up stores and various collaborative merchandise were released, heightening excitement from the start. On the first day, a light-up campaign was simultaneously held at Kobe Port Tower, Tokyo Tower, Nagoya Mirai Tower, and Sapporo TV Tower. At Tokyo Dome, long lines of fans awaited to purchase merchandise, drawing considerable attention.

The atmosphere reached a peak on stage. Opening with their global mega-hits ‘Kill This Love’ and ‘Pink Venom,’ BLACKPINK captivated the audience with powerful live performances. Their heightened charisma and polished performances set the Tokyo Dome ablaze.

A well-crafted production, featuring live band sounds and YG’s renowned concert expertise, maximized audience engagement. The members performed a remarkable setlist, showcasing BLACKPINK’s musical journey from their debut songs ‘Whistle’ and ‘Boombayah’ to ‘Jump,’ a track released during the tour.

The group also dedicated a special segment to interacting with fans. During the encore, the four members roamed throughout the venue, connecting with the audience, while fans responded with applause and cheers that continued until the concert’s closing moments. BLACKPINK shared, “Time flew by quickly, and it’s a pity. We received a lot of energy over the past three days and wanted to express our love and gratitude to each and every one of you.”

Having concluded their Tokyo Dome performances, BLACKPINK will meet fans at Kai Tak Stadium in Hong Kong on the 24th, 25th, and 26th of this month. This will mark the finale of their world tour, which spanned 16 cities and 33 shows.

Meanwhile, BLACKPINK will release their third mini-album, ‘Deadline,’ on February 27 at 2 PM. This long-awaited album follows approximately three years and five months after their second studio album, ‘Born Pink.’ As BLACKPINK makes their return as global top artists, significant buzz already surrounds the release, signaling the group will once again captivate hearts with their latest achievements and future direction.
