BLACKPINK has hinted at a new musical journey.
YG Entertainment released the ‘BLACKPINK – GO’ M/V TEASER on its official blog on the 24th. The video offers a glimpse into the highly anticipated concept of their new song, capturing the attention of global music fans.
The teaser captivates with its grand, universal scale. The members appear to be preparing for a journey that spans sea, land, sky, and space, depicted with vivid imagery. Their unified posture while gripping crossing oars symbolizes a determined resolve.
The title of the song flashes by in various languages, and a symbol emerges from an explosion of white sand to form the word ‘GO’, among other intriguing elements.
BLACKPINK will release their third mini-album ‘DEADLINE’ on the 27th at 2 PM KST. Including the title track ‘GO’, the album features five tracks, such as the pre-release song ‘JUMP’, ‘Me and my’, ‘Champion’, and ‘Fxxxboy’. According to YG, the album reflects the “irretrievable best moments” and “the brightest present of BLACKPINK” as suggested by the title ‘DEADLINE’.
Meanwhile, from the 27th until the 8th of next month, BLACKPINK will launch the ‘National Museum x BLACKPINK’ project. This special collaboration, supported by Spotify, will include pink lighting of the museum’s exterior and audio tours featuring the members. The main lobby will host a listening session of all tracks from the mini-album. Advance sessions sold out upon opening, but post-release sessions are open to everyone.
