
BTS is expanding its massive comeback project across Seoul, transforming the city into an immense cultural experience space. Following the release of their fifth studio album ‘ARIRANG’ and the commemorative event ‘BTS Comeback Live: ARIRANG’ at Gwanghwamun Square, the group has announced another major project.
According to Big Hit Music, ‘BTS THE CITY ARIRANG SEOUL’ will run from March 20 to April 12. Experiential content combining music and media, along with installations integrated into the cityscape, will unfold across Seoul.
On the album release day, March 20, media facades will illuminate iconic Seoul landmarks such as Sungnyemun and Seoul Tower. This integration of modern media expressions with cultural heritage sites like Sungnyemun will create symbolic scenes where tradition and modernity coexist. The event is expected to highlight the value of Korea’s cultural heritage worldwide.
Yeouido Hangang Park will host a lounge-style program until March 22, allowing visitors to enjoy and share BTS’s music. In April, the streets of central Seoul will feature beautifully decorated stone walls and stairways. Media renderings using light and video will bring BTS’s song lyrics to life.
Big Hit Music stated, “During ‘The City Seoul,’ we have collaborated with the city of Seoul to create a program where tourists and citizens can experience culture and art in new ways and enjoy BTS’s comeback experientially. There will also be partnership events in various fields such as F&B and mobility.”

Details regarding ‘The City Seoul’ schedule and programs will be released later on the BTS channel on the global superfan platform Weverse. ‘BTS THE CITY ARIRANG’ is planning to expand from Seoul to major cities worldwide.
