The special space ‘BTS POP-UP: ARIRANG,’ where fans can experience BTS’s new album, has officially opened.
On the 20th, BTS launched pop-ups in two locations—at the HYBE headquarters in Yongsan, Seoul, and Shinsegae Department Store’s main branch, The Heritage—to celebrate the release of their fifth album, ‘ARIRANG.’ This exhibition-style pop-up space brings the album’s concept and message to life.
Visitors from around the world admired the 1.9m tall volcanic rock sculpture installed at the entrance.

Embodying the album’s title ‘ARIRANG,’ the 1.9m sculpture enhanced immersion, complemented by a graphic of the Big Dipper on the floor. The highlight of the exhibit area was undoubtedly the visuals of the seven members.
Their large photos, featuring them in sophisticated suits, exuded a unique aura and prompted countless camera clicks.
The interactive experience zone, which offers more than mere viewing, has become a must-visit for attendees.
The ‘ARIRANG MEARI’ (Echo) area, where visitors roll balls representing five forms of love, captivated with vivid visual and auditory effects, attracting continuous crowds.

In the ‘What is your love song?’ zone, visitors combined the album’s tracklist, member icons, and their nicknames to create unique graphics, drawing enthusiasm from those eager to own a one-of-a-kind image.
Collaboration products with the National Museum Cultural Foundation’s ‘MU:DS’ brand were also unveiled. These items reinterpret the decorations of the National Treasure Divine Bell of King Seongdeok in a modern way.
The collection includes intricately patterned shoulder bags, cardholders, layered skirts, and hair accessories that highlight Korean silhouettes, enticing global tourists with their collectible appeal.
Meanwhile, the album ‘ARIRANG,’ released at 1 p.m. on the 20th, encompasses universal emotions relatable to many. Chairman Bang Si-hyuk oversaw its production, enhancing its completeness.

The title track, ‘SWIM,’ is an alternative pop song about persevering amid the waves of life.
From March 20 to April 19, BTS will organize the urban project ‘BTS THE CITY ARIRANG SEOUL’ across Seoul.
Visitors will enjoy various programs offline, experiencing the unique rarity of moments available only at specific times and places.
Major landmarks will feature media facades, as well as drone and music light shows in sequence, transforming Seoul into a grand festival.
